In Conversation with Richard Pite

Richard is a professional musician (drums, double bass, bass ukulele, tuba and sousaphone) and music historian specialising in the jazz of the early 20th Century. For many years he has studied 1920s music and worked passionately to preserve early jazz history through live performance. He is happy to be known as “the bastard love child of Ringo Star and Gene Krupa”.
