In Conversation with Lorna Dallas

Lorna Dallas has performed for every member of the British Royal Family. She's worked with The Metropolitan Opera, Bob Hope and Barry Manilow for which she was nominated for an Emmy. She came to London to star in the revival of Showboat with Cleo Laine and remained here to star in The King and I, Kismet, Side By Side By Sondheim and many more.

The New York Observer said her voice “wraps itself around theatrical gems with the warmth of a mink stole,” and John Dankworth called her, “one if the very finest American vocalists of her style and generation”.

In this interview we talk about her work in musical theatre, chatting with Jackie Stewart on Concorde, and what to wear when having lunch with Yul Brynner.
