In Conversation with Jay Rayner

Jay Rayner is an award-winning writer, journalist and broadcaster. He writes about crime, politics, the arts and fashion but he first love is food and fortunately for him he's the restaurant critic for The Observer. You might have seen him on Masterchef, Eating with the Enemy, and Channel 4's Despatches and he's the host of Radio 4's The Food Cabinet. He also loves to play the piano.

In this interview he talks about his years as a seasoned newspaper hack, playing the piano, the advantages of celebrity and what it was like growing up with an agony aunt for a mum.
