In Conversation with Matt Ford

Matt Ford is an award-winning vocalist performing for big bands and orchestras like the Halle, the Philharmonia, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and John Wilson's fabulous orchestra as seen at The Proms. He is widely regarded as the finest big band singer in the UK with numerous albums to his name including projects at Abbey Road Studios.

He tells me about his first time singing with a big band and why it took five hundred shows before he got the hang of it, why he left the Syd Lawrence Orchestra, and the joys (and tears) of singing for John Wilson.
