In Conversation with Michael Feinstein

Michael Feinstein is an author, archivist, singer and conductor. Since his close working relationship with Ira Gershwin he’s become well established as the world’s ambassador for the Great American Songbook. His albums have gone platinum and he’s been nominated for five Grammy Awards.

In this interview we talk about his friendship with Johnny Mathis, singing for Leonard Bernstein and meeting Frank Sinatra. He shares his appreciation for the generosity of the stars who helped him on his way like Ira Gershwin, Rosemary Clooney and Dinah Shore and reveals what made Andrew Lloyd-Webber snap.
