  1. Hello, Gary!
You were one of the headliners on Royal Caribbean’s Holy Land cruise in November. Thoroughly enjoyed the show. Bought the Legends and Wonderland CDs which you were kind enough to sign. Started following on Facebook and learned about your Legends podcast. Have started working my way through this treasure trove of tributes to the American Songbook. Loving it! Thank you for all the effort to put out a weekly show. No small effort.
    Stay safe!
    David & Maryann Bowen

    1. Thank you for your kind words. I really enjoyed making all of those programmes and I’m glad people are still listening to them. It’s timeless stuff!

See you on another ship again… one day! 🙂

  2. Hi Gary, my friend and I very much enjoyed your Xmas Show at Zedel last
Tuesday evening. You have a wonderful voice and great humour. You are
Clearly from the north of England !

  3. Hiya Gary
Saw you on navigator of the seas in July 18. Your show was amazing love your voice. Bought your Brazil CD which you kindly signed. You sang My Way right at the end. It was the last song played at my mum’s funeral in Jan and I’ve not listened to it since. Needless to say I ended up sobbing

    1. Hi Karyn. Thanks for writing. It’s amazing how powerful certain songs can be. They can take us back to a very specific moment in our lives. Hopefully you were reminded of good times with your mum as well. Wishing you all the best. Gary

  4. Hi Gary
It was great to meet you and have a photograph taken with you after your superb show on the ‘Navigator Of The Seas’ on the 19th May, yours was by far the best show of the whole cruise and there were many great comments being made by fellow guests upon your performance.
We will be sure to look out for you if you are appearing in the Hampshire area in the future, maybe the Conchord Jazz Club Eastleigh Southampton.

    Very best wishes.
    David & Pauline Gladding

  5. Hi Gary,

Thank you so very much for your wonderful show at Zedel last night! Front row seat and a chat with you after the show made my birthday possibly the best I can ever remember! It was a great pleasure to meet your charming parents too, they must be so proud of you. I wish you every blessing for the future and hope to catch up with you again soon on land or sea! Terri

    1. Thanks Terri. So pleased you had fun! Maybe see you back there in December.

  6. Hi Gary! Well I tuned in to "Friday Night is Music Night" as usual last night and was so excited when Ken announced the singer to be Gary Williams. I thought "no – it can’t be" but yes it was!! Not sure if you remember me but I used to work for you back at Right Action in the early 1990s and am sooo pleased that you have achieved your dream. You were and still are a fantastic singer and I am so pleased you are where you want to be. Who knows, maybe I will get to see you live one day. Best wishes for a very happy future. Fiona White xxx

    1. HI Fiona! Of course I remember you! My right hand! Lovely to hear from you. I am doing a show in Cleethorpes in September. Subscribe to my newsletter and I’ll let you know when it’s on sale. Come and find me afterwards.

  7. What a fantastic show tonight at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester. An incredible voice and kept us thoroughly entertained. Thank you so much. You’ve made our Christmas just so much more special.

    1. Thanks so much Geoff. Glad you enjoyed yourself. It’s always a pleasure to be with your orchestra.

  8. Just back from the Christmas show at Crazy Coqs – what a great evening. Lots of familiar sing-a-long Christmas classics, but also a Dean Martin tribute section, and an hilarious song I’d not heard before ‘The Twelve Days After Christmas’. But there were also 2 or 3 originals, and they were superb. Gary said he hoped the album with those songs on should be out relatively soon, and I look forward to that. He’s also got a show of 1968 songs coming up in May at Crazy Coqs. I advise booking early! Merry Christmas!

  9. Gary, i just came back from a cruise with Serenade of the sea. The evening with you performing was absolutly stunning, to short but i enjoyed avery minute. My favorite was I did it My way, i told you why and i still carry that memory with me everyday.
Take care and all the best for Christmas.
Maggie from Stockholm on the front row 🙂

  10. Gary,
Becky and I just enjoyed 3 nights with you on the Jewel. It made our cruise so worthwhile. If ever in Florida, Orlando and north to Georgia, we want to see your show and bring our friends with us to see perhaps the greatest male singer of our time. Oh, the GARY WILLIAMS MEETS FRANK SINATRA CD is so fantastic but won’t play Let’s Face The Music And Dance. Hate to miss even one of your great songs. Thanks, again, Becky and Keith Easter, Hernando, Florida

  11. I saw the At The Movies show a while back and loved it. And now the CD is out – don’t miss it! Gary’s vocals and interpretation marvellous as ever, and backed by a terrific band.

  12. Hi Gary
I came along on Sunday 21st May with my daughter. You are very polished and the rest of the acts were brilliant. We were down in London for two nights.
Joe Stillgoe exceptional but ther again so was everybody. We sat next to your friends/associates table and I shook your hand on leaving.
Excellent night looking forward to seeing you again. Maybe in Edinburgh

    Cheers Brian

    1. Thanks Brian. Appreciate the message. Are you on my mailing list? You can sign up at the bottom of any page on my website. I’ll let you know where and when I am doing more shows.

  13. We think you are TERRIFIC! Hope you will sing our song AGAIN on the March 5th -20th Asia cruise (Crystal Symphony) "Strangers In The Night". We have late dining so think we go to late show!!! We last saw you on Serenity in Brazil!!! So looking forward to your show Gary!!!❤

    1. Hi Barbara! Lovely to hear from you! Strangers isn’t in my usual show but I will do my best to get it in somewhere just for you. Really looking forward to seeing you on board. Let’s have a lunch.

  14. I had the privilege of seeing Gary perform at Crazy Coqs a few nights before Christmas. It is the first time I have had the opportunity to see him perform live. It was such a great kick off to the holidays leaving everyone in the room in such a feel good festive mood. Gary’s rapport with the audience was second to none from the very first note, not to mention his interpretation and command of the songs he selected for us. Just brilliant. Rick

  15. Saw you with Clare Teal last night in Birmingham, a terrific show.
You had just sold the last copy of Big Band Wonderland when I reached the head of the queue, but you were quick to say it was available on your website – a true muso, never miss an opportunity!
Have just ordered it plus a copy of Gary Williams meets Frank Sinatra.
    Hope to see you again.

    David Ingley

  16. We saw you at the Crazy Coqs last night. What a fantastic show! Great songs and great humour – you certainly know how to entertain! Everyone in our party has been raving about the show today.

  17. Enjoyed your concert with my father (86yrs) at Horsham. He was chuffed that he had his name mentioned for a request. Love Harry the Piano as always, so that was a bonus!

    Eve Fegredo

  18. Gary I thought your voice was spot on and you really suit his style of music.
We saw your show at horsham I am 30 and appreciate good music and it was wonderful to see music sung properly (e.g. holding a note rather than putting a silly vibrato on it, one thing that is not heard in music now) I believe one of his best songs but not heard of much, is coffee in Brazil. Please have it available for selection next time i come, I frequently sing that and many other of Frank’s songs while I work to keep my spirits high.
All in all a brilliant show.
Just a glass of whisky And a cigar away from perfect

  19. Great evening once again at the Crazy Coqs last night & you were in top form as usual Gary, thought the Hollywood theme was great & the Disney songs great fun.
Looking forward to seeing you in Horsham in July for the Sinatra songbook.
    Best wishes
    Dave & Shirley xx

  20. Absolutely wonderful evening at the Hackney Empire last night. Certainly our kind of music. Loved it. X

  21. Dear Gary, Saw you a couple of times at the Sinatra Music Society conventions in Birmingham, once, some years ago, when you sang my request "Angel Eyes", and again last October.
Nice to hear someone who has a real feeling for the Sinatra songs.
Nice, also, that you mingle with the audience after the show, meeting as many people as you can.
    This is very much appreciated.
Everyone I’ve spoken to at the Sinatra Music Society has a great respect for you, both as a singer, and as a person.
    Best wishes, Barrie Owen.

  22. My partner together with two friends saw Gary perform on New Years eve with the Royal Liverpool Philarmonic Orchestra. What a treat it was watching Gary perform Sinatra classics from the swing era. It was nice to see Gary mixing with his fans during the interlude and whilst we didn’t have the nerve to approach Gary. It am sure that if we did we would have been faced with the same charm and cool Gary displays on stage. Happy new year. Mark & Jan.

    1. Hi Mark and Jan. What a nice think to say. Thanks and Happy New Year. I should be back with the Phil in December, so make sure you say hi then! 🙂

  23. We saw you at the Crazy Coqs last night. What a fantastic show! Great songs and great humour – you certainly know how to entertain! Everyone in our party has been raving about the show today. You have 10 new fans. Thanks Gary :0)

    1. Thanks Becky. You guys were great fun. When I see large tables coming in – especially when they’re nearly all men, I always worry they’re going to be loud and rowdy. You lot were just loud – in all the right places, and quiet in the quiet parts. Perfect. See you next year! Merry Christmas!

  24. Hi Gary,
Saw you last night in cleethorpes, not seen you for many years and I loved it. What a lovely evening. I was transported to another place where there is no stress and all is good. Thank you it did me good . Xxx

  25. Hi Gary,
Saw you at Bridgewater Hall, Manchester recently, having come over from Malta for the show – and what a show! It was superb! So professionally done, your silky tones, clear diction, spot on timing – I could go on! I think you will agree that you had marvelous backing too from the best of orchestras, the Halle. Thanks for a magical evening, and for signing your CD’s for me.

    1. Thanks Dave. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. It’s always a great thrill working with the Halle. Treasure them!

  26. Seen you this evening at Bridgewater Hall Manchester . Very impressed . Loved New York New York. Highlight of the evening for me. Thank you for a great night x

  27. Wonderful show! So good! Love Gary’s singing and of course SONG CHOICES!

  28. Hi GaryAfter seeing you recently at The Crazy Coqs I checked your gig list and discovered that you were appearing at North Hall Loxwood which is around 40 miles from Portsmouth (but in some ways a million miles away from Crazy Coqs), so I took this opportunity along with my wife Pauline to bring along my daughter Debbie and my friend John (who recently lost his wife) to see you. I am so pleased that I did because you were fantastic, you gave the full house a very memorable evening and duly received a standing ovation. I must thank you for singing ‘I’ll Never Smile Again’ for John and to sing it A cappella was most impressive. We now look forward to seeing you again when you are down this way again.
    Very best wishes
    David, Pauline, Debbie and John.
P.S Your Sinatra cd is great.

    1. Thanks David. A real pleasure to have you guys there. Thanks for coming all that way. I was quite moved singing I’ll Never Smile Again. Such a lovely song and so poignant for John. See you again soon, I hope.

  29. Hi GaryGreat show at Crazy Coqs, it was the perfect example of how a cabaret should be. You are a very talented vocalist and entertainer and both you and Harry (the piano) gave us your all.

P.S The vocal Lady sends her love.

  30. So looking forward to see you on our cruise in a couple of weeks! “Strangers in the Night” by Frank Sinatra is OUR SONG! Hole you sing that one! Almost 40 years for us & that one night did the trick!!!(Crystal Serenity sailing 4/18/15)

    1. Hi Barbara. I don’t normally sing that song in my act but I will try and find a chance to sing it for you guys. Looking forward to meeting you. 🙂

  31. Once again had a great night at the Crazy Coqs on Friday.it is so much fun. Thanks Gary .
Happy Christmas to you & yours.
    Shirley & Dave

  32. Brilliant show at Crazy Coqs last night. You are such a fantastic entertainer felt really uplifted and xmassy! Looking forward to the Sinatra Jukebox in May.

  33. Gary. Thank you for a nice evening in Burgess Hill. Sorry about the empty seats! We also loved the recent appearance at Sinah Warren. Gordon and Susan Higginson

    1. Thank you! He is a star. It was one take without any practise or rehearsal after a big lunch!

  34. Hi Gary, on behalf of myself, my husband Ian (who came to chat to you afterwards and bought a CD) and my Mum Elaine, we would like to say a very big thank you for the concert tonight at Clonter. We had a wonderful time and your rendition of our request for “Very Good Year” brought happy/sad tears to my eyes remembering my Father who died in 2012 aged 93. He was in the Army in the Second World War stationed in India and was a singer in the “concert party” who entertained the troops (like the comedy TV series “Some like it Hot). When he was demobbed he didn’t take up singing professional instead starting his own tiling business to support his family and my Mother and her Mother. From the 60’s onwards he sang for the family and for pleasure only all Franks’ songs and one of his best and my favourite was our request tonight Very Good Year, thank you for all the memories! We hope to hear you again sometime

  35. Gary – Saw your show on the Oasis in October 2014 and loved it! Thank you so much for taking the time to autograph your CDs and taking a picture with Linda. We enjoyed your show immensely and hope we get a chance to see your show in person again. Until then, we will enjoy your CDs.

  36. Proms Spectacular @ Castle Howard 16/8/14. A cool dark night but Gary warmed things up and lifted the gloom. Fantastic!

  37. You held us in the palm of your hand last night at Petworth Sauna – true cabaret – thank you.

  38. Holders Season Barbados 2014. Although I thanked you Gary for singing “My Way “for my husband at The Sinatra Juke Box Night,I want you to know again how much we appreciated that & enjoyed the show. It was the best night out of all the venues of that season & we are so hoping you might be appearing in the 2015 Holders Season next year 2015 !???Holders House is a lovely place for a concert & you just were the icing on the cake! We are enjoying your CD.In fact we think you sing better than the real thing! Jean & Julien C

    1. That’s all very nice of you to say. We don’t need much of an excuse to come back to Holder’s. We had a wonderful time!

  39. Hello Mr Gary Williams,we would like to thank you again so much for dedicating My Way to Julien at Holders Season Frank Sinatra Juke Box Night in Barbados. It was very generous of you! Our friends Sydney & Pam, like ourselves enjoyed the concert so much ,not even the rain spoilt it! It was wonderful! Thanks again & wishing you well.We are enjoying you CD this morning!Best wishes Julien & Jean

  40. Saw your show on the Brillance of the Seas a few weeks ago …Just wonderful…Thanks for a great evening !B

  41. Hi Gary, thanks for a grat show on the “Adventures of the Seas”. We met the next morning and talked about arrangements – maybe you remember! I´m now listening to your recordings on Spotitfy – just my taste!!! I mentioned to you an arranger named BILL HOLMAN. For me one of the greatest arrangers in modern jazz. He was together with Stan Kenton for a long time. One of my favorites is the cd “Incomparable! Anita O´Day” – please listen to the arrangements – they are fantastic – as Anita as well! It´s a Verve recording – remastered in 2002! It is not on Spotify – if you have the time! It was so fun meeting and listening to you – GREAT! Best regards Søren Wesseltoft, Denmark!

  42. I saw your show last night at Crazy Coqs and thoroughly enjoyed it. I particularly loved your singing the famous Dino songs especially Amore. You should do more of these. Do you recall the old Sinatra gag? When asked why Dino wasn’t with him on a particular show, Frank replied “Unfortunately he can’t be with us tonight as he’s in the hospital having an operation to remove a bar-rail from his foot”
Keep up the good work! Best wishes.

    1. Ha. I didn’t know that gag. Thanks Peter. It was a fun night. I enjoyed it myself. See you in May for the Nat Cole show.

  43. Hi Gary, as usual we really enjoyed the evening at the Crazy Coqs on Friday, it is a lovely relaxing evening in a great venue.Merry Christmas & a happy new year to you.
    Best wishes
    Dave & Shirley xx

  44. Gary, we were at the Crazy Coqs last night and loved the show. It really started Christmas for us – lovely intimate venue and you sparkled all night, fabulous!

  45. Thanks, Gary…Great show last night at The Crazy Coqs, Brasserie Zédel! The songbook, tales and Christmas sing-a-longs really got everyone in the mood for the festive season!
We will be back when you next visit!

  46. Hi Gary,Took Two American friends & my wife to Ronnie’s on Sunday fab show, you got more than Six laugh out loud’s from me and your singing in your own voice was superb. Keep entertaining and communicating with the audience and for anyone wanting a good read and common sense advice it’s all in ‘Cabaret Secrets’…….

  48. Hi Gary! I was at your show on the Serenade of the Seas last week. Don’t know if you remember me, but I sat in the second row and was wearing a white dress with a pearl necklace. Just wanted to say thank you for giving me the rose, and sorry I didn’t catch it. 🙂 It was very sweet and made my night. You have a lovely voice, a classy act, and were a pleasure to listen to. Best of luck with everything!

    1. Thanks Kristi. I do remember you. In a show I did last night I threw a rose and two women wrestled for it! At least you didn’t do that! 🙂

  49. Hi GaryWe have just seen your show at Pizza Exprees in Maidstone and we would like to say how much we both enjoyed yours and Harrys first class performance. Thank you so much for the super entertainment, it made our 44th Wedding Aniversary a day to remember. We look forward to seeing you again very soon, many, many thanks.
    Brian and Val

    1. Thanks guys. We really enjoyed the gig. The journey home was also entertaining as two groups of chavs had a fight on the train!

  50. Hi………………….Love the video of Sinatra Jukebox. Great Idea, must try to get down for one of these. Aren’t you two soooooooooooooooooooooooo good. I was so sorry to miss you at rhe Bridgewater Hall as I had to go to my Neice’s 21st on 29/6.Of all the nights to do our venue – and with the wonderful Halle Orchestra too. I was going to leave you a welcome card, but thought you might find it a bit “cheesy”, so opted out. Wish you all the very best for the future – you deserve the best…………………..Very Best Wishes Margo x

  51. Didn’t know Gary williams before, I discovered a great voice last week onboard Liberty of the seas ! Thanks for this moment !Geraldine (France)

    1. Thanks Ken. That’s kind of you to say. Sign up to the newsletter and you know exactly what I am up to! 🙂

  54. Couldn’t wait for this show at Symphony Hall. Was I disappointed ……. No Way. Absolutely indulgent. Gary was superb, not a Sinatra tribute, but that actually made it better. Gary’s voice is effortless silk. Fits swing perfectly. As for the Big Band behind, namely the CBSO, well what better way to spend a Friday night. Gary Williams backed by full orchestra big band sound …… Perfection. You must be very proud, beats them Grimsby Care Homes Ay? Hope you get better soon …. LOL.

  55. gary we saw your show at symphony hall on Friday….loved all of it. you are so easy to listen too.. loved your smart tux too. good to see your itiniery….all those cruise ships!!!!

  56. Hi Gary. I was at your concert in Birmingham last night. You were sensational! I’m in my seventies and so Frank is part of growing up and I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy the concert BUT you sang Nice and Easy and I was thrilled, I loved it all. Then when you encored with My Way I thought that although I’ve loved it for years so many have sung it but WOW you were BETTER than Sinatra, honestly. I was standing up, clapping my hands off in tears! I’ve never done that in my life! So thank you I hope you come back to Birmingham!

  57. Saw you at Symphony Hall last night with the CBSO. Absolutely brilliant. Made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Hope its not too long before you’re back there again.

  58. We have just come home from Birmingham having had one of the most enjoyable evening’s entertainment. Congratulations Gary for being able to sing some beautiful songs. Thank you very much!

  59. Hi Gary, Have just seen you 2 nights running on the Royal Princess, you just produce a fabulous show every time. Have seen you twice before on Cunard ships and you were extremely good then too. Looking forward to seeing you soon.Regards

    Shirley & Dave

  61. Hi GaryI and my two sons (who treated me for my special birthday) were at the 8pm show at Crazy Coqs on Friday night – we very much enjoyed the evening with the added bonus of Harry. I purchased your new CD to complete my set of your CDs, shortly to go on my Ipod. It was a shame that quite a few people in the audience wanted to natter to each other or use their mobiles.
Have been wanting to see you sing live for ages and I wasn’t disappointed – many thanks

  62. Hi Gary

  74. Good morning GaryThankyou for a very entertaining and enjoyable evening at the Pheasantry on Saturday. Your beautiful rendition of Softly is something I will not forget. Keep doing that song Gary its amazing.
I spoke to my father last night who is 90 and he saw you at The Gordon Craig Theatre a few years ago. Just bought two copies of

  75. Hi Gary
It was so good to hear you live at the pheasantry. Last week on Saturday. Neil and I had such great time. Thank you for playing our song choice and wish you luck with the touring. Hope to see you soon, Neil has bought the CD and he loves listening to it in the car :). I have you on my ITunes :).

    Shirley & Dave

    1. Thanks Jan. That was a very funny moment. “Duke” is much more pleasant than “Dyke”. I’d rather have a Duke over for tea than a Dyke.

  78. Oi, Garry, fiquei completamente encantado com a sua voz, seu carisma, sea apresentação, sua voz.
Se fizer um show no Brasil, estarei lá com certeza.
    Sucesso e forte abraço,
    Nelson Nunes

  79. Hi Gary, we relly enjoyed your Sinatra Jukebox show at the Parkway, recently you were very good as always. I hoped Misty would be on the list so I could choose it, no need you sang it anyway it was lovely, it was the first song you sang for me when Lily asked you to come and entertain us at a Marks and Spencer R.S.A. Christmas Party, you were just a young man then. We Look forward to your next concert .Our very best wishes for your next Brazillian Cruise.
